Nuvvel features AI-generated stories and invites readers to explore the worlds these stories create. Think of it as a mix between a Netflix TV series that doesn't end and a dedicated Wikipedia for each series. There is much to explore, with interconnected characters, each with their own story arc, and locations where events unfold, connecting everything together.

Each series begins with a story arc told over many chapters. Once a chapter is unlocked, it is available for anyone to read. You may find some chapters already available (unlocked by others) while others remain locked. You can use credits (purchased with a Membership Plan) to unlock content. Upon unlocking, the AI generates new content on the spot, advancing the series for you and future readers.

Just like in real life, there's always more to the story than what meets the eye. Nuvvel offers a unique ability to explore past events and delve into the rich histories of every character and location.

Unlike movies, TV series, and books, each Nuvvel series has no "finale." The budget doesn't get cut after a season, the author doesn't lose interest, and the movie sequal doesn't get made because of box-office numbers. You can read all existing story content at no cost. Once someone unlocks content, it is available to everyone. Non-members will see advertisements along with this content. Membership credits are only needed to expand stories. For example, a series may contain hundreds of chapters of content that you can read for free. If you wish to expand the series where no one else has, you’ll use credits to do so.

How Credits Work

Each plan comes with monthly credits to unlock new content, an ad-free reading experience, and the ability to retain any purchased Rollover Credits. To provide this service at the lowest cost, there are two types of credits: Membership Credits and Rollover Credits.

Membership Credits are topped up every month according to your plan. These provide the cheapest way to unlock content.

Rollover Credits are one-time purchases that you can use to unlock content. These are best used to supplement membership credits if you are unsure about moving to a higher membership plan or find the membership plans too limiting. As Membership Credits are the best value, they will always be depleted first, after which credits will be deducted from the Rollover Credits. Rollover Credits do not expire and will remain in your account as long as you maintain an active membership.

If you’re unsure where to start, the Standard Membership is ideal for most readers. Remember, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time to match your evolving reading habits.

Nuvvel was created entirely by me, a single designer / developer, utilizing a variety of AI tools.

I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota not far from Mt. Rushmore. I studied Computer Science and Psychology at RPI in upstate New York and have worked as a UX Designer for nearly 15 years.

The power and productivity of AI have reached a turning point, empowering individuals to realize big ideas more than ever before. Nuvvel began out of my frustration with my favorite movies not getting sequels and TV series ending prematurely. Once I find content I enjoy, I want to continue enjoying it without others dictating when it ends. This led to the idea of using generative AI to create such content.

Embracing AI-generated content empowers consumers, allowing them to no longer rely on the corporate viability of content monetization. Their choices can be incredibly niche and counter-trend while still receiving excellent production quality. This new paradigm has just now begun and I'm excited to realize this vision through Nuvvel.

One other important consideration in developing Nuvvel was for the content to be sharable and collaborative by design. As people come together around storytelling and sharing experiences, I've built Nuvvel to enable users to share content with others and share in the expansion of each series.
